Apple has unveiled their new 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M5 chip, marking the next major step in on-device AI computing for the Mac lineup. With up to 3.5x faster AI performance, 1.6x faster graphics, and a massive 24-hour battery life, the new MacBook Pro aims to deliver pro-grade performance for creators, developers, and business users alike — all starting at RM6,999 in Malaysia.

Harnessing the prowess of M5, this new 14-inch MacBook Pro gets an even faster, more capable operation, as well as delivering a huge leap in AI performance.
The new M5 chip features a next-generation GPU with a Neural Accelerator in each core, delivering up to 3.5x on AI performance and up to 1.6x faster graphics than the previous generation.
Users will experience faster text-to-image generation when running diffusion models in apps like Draw Things, and LLMs will run even faster in popular apps like LM Studio. Moreover, the M5 chip also speeds up a wide variety of pro workflows, like deep learning, data modeling, and AI video enhancement.
Better Battery & Faster SSD Storage
With the latest storage technology, the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 brings faster SSD performance than the previous generation for tasks like importing RAW image files or exporting large videos.
Additionally, utilising the M5 means this Macbook Pro generation gets an increased battery life of up to 24 hours, so users can take their pro workflows anywhere.
Complete with a Capable Display, Camera, Audio System & Set of Ports
Macbook Pro 14-inch M5 will also include a gorgeous Liquid Retina XDR display with a nano-texture option, which is able to display 1600 nits peak HDR brightness and up to 1000 nits of brightness for SDR content. There's also the option to upgrade and drive up to two high-resolution external displays.
Other hardware includes a 12MP Center Stage camera, a six-speaker sound system and a wide array of ports, working in tandem with Apple Intelligence capabilities and macOS Tahoe; packaging a complete, powerful MacBook Pro experience.
This Macbook Pro generation is especially appealing for users coming from older Intel-based and M1 Macbooks, with upgrades such as 16GB of starting unified memory, an additional Thunderbolt port, and the space black finish with an anodisation seal.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 starts at RM6,999 and RM6,569 with education savings, which is the same as the starting price of previous generations, and is available in space black and silver.
