In celebration of its 30th anniversary, vivo has unveiled its latest flagship pair: the vivo X300 and X300 Pro, in Shanghai, China yesterday, 14 October.
Besides a new 200 MP ZEISS imaging system, the X300 series also supports an easy integration with Apple's ecosystem.
Camera's the focus for both X300 phones

vivo calls the duo the “Dual Kings of 200 MP ZEISS Imaging." Each phone feature a 200MP HPB imaging sensor designed in collaboration with Samsung.
The X300 Pro features a 200 MP telephoto camera (85 mm equivalent) with ZEISS APO certification, built with stabilisation (CIPA 5.5 level) to ensure sharpness even when zooming in. Its main camera uses a Sony LYT-828 sensor (1/1.28 inch), with a large aperture and built-in stabilisation for better low-light and video.
Meanwhile, the non-Pro variant — the X300 — has the same powerful 200 MP sensor for its main lens, allowing users to crop deeply and retain detail. It also includes a telephoto module for added versatility.
Both phones support creative video modes such as shooting 4K at 120 fps across multiple lenses, and they offer Dolby Vision HDR video recording.
One standout is the “dual-chip integration” approach: vivo pairs its own imaging chip (V3+) with the Dimensity 9500 chip, so the camera computations and general performance don’t interfere with each other. This helps deliver smoother photo and video capture, even in demanding scenes.
Battery matches a powerful chipset
Both the X300 and the X300 Pro run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a rival to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. With this, vivo claims the X300 Pro achieved over 4.1 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks in room-temperature conditions, showing its strong performance credentials.
Both phones are running the new OriginOS 6, Vivo’s take on Android, which includes a wireless file-sharing capability akin to Apple’s AirDrop. This feature allows users to transfer files between Vivo smartphones and Apple devices such as Macs and iPads without the need for cables or shared Wi-Fi networks. The only requirement is that both devices are signed into a Vivo account. You would also be able to connect the X300 series to Apple devices like AirPods and Apple Watch, and it would also support Mac and iPad screen mirroring.
In terms of battery, it's always a concern in flagship phones, especially when powering heavy imaging features. vivo addresses this with their BlueVolt battery technology. The X300 Pro is equipped with a 6,510 mAh battery, while the X300 carries 6,040 mAh. vivo claims that through smart hardware/software efficiency tweaks, these batteries should behave similarly to even larger-capacity cells from rivals. Both phones also support 90 W wired fast charging, and wireless charging features are expected in the mix as well.
A more ergonomic phone design & display

The X300 Pro uses a 6.78-inch display with slim bezels, and the body is just shy of 7.99mm thick, featuring 3D unibody glass and a premium “velvet glass” finish.
The X300 is more compact with a 6.31-inch flat display, which they say is ideal for one-hand use. It weighs around 190g and with a slim 7.95 mm profile.
Both models sport a circular camera module design, and vivo uses “Coral Velvet Glass” to give a tactile, fingerprint-resistant texture. They also bring features like strong IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance.
The displays promise eye comfort through technologies like full-range DC dimming and extremely low minimum brightness.
No official release date for Malaysia. Yet.
Both the X300 and X300 Pro are available to order in China now. The X300 starts from 4,399 yuan (around RM2,613), with the Pro at 5,299 yuan (around RM3147.86). The telephoto lens is sold separately for 1,299 yuan (around RM771.67), or 1,499 yuan (around RM890.48) for the full photography kit.
