Samsung's latest Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra feels like what a premium tablet should be in 2025; impossibly thin, an impressive bright display, and is just refined in all the right places. It's big, but also very lightweight.

Pick the tablet up and your brain does a double-take because there's no way something this large should feel this light.
Right out the box, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra thing is just 5.1mm thick and weighs 692g. If you're new to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, that might not sound impressive, until you learn that this is a 14.6-inch tablet, and that it is thinner than the Apple iPhone Air 17 even. Hardware wise, the screen is a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel that now hits 1,600 nits peak brightness, with High Brightness Mode delivering 1,000 nits.
The finish is also very premium, made of Enhanced Armor aluminum. In fact, the entire built feels like a reminisce to the Galaxy Z Fold7, which was also impressively thin. If anything, I think Samsung deserves an iF Design or Red Dot Design Award for 2025.
The bezels are also trimmed down so much the front camera notch is now just a tiny blip, instead of that chunky cutout we've gotten used to. Clean aesthetic, minimal distractions – exactly what you want when you're staring at this screen for hours.
Battery & Performance
Under the hood is MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ chip on 3nm process, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. On paper, performance jumps are legit – 24% faster CPU, 27% better GPU, and 33% boost to the NPU compared to the S10.
Battery is also massive – 11,600mAh, which is impressive without adding any weight so all-day usage shouldn't be an issue. You also get quad speakers, in-display fingerprint scanner, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and 5G, depending on your model.
And not forgetting, Samsung has decided to forgot Bluetooth and Charging of the S Pen to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. In exchange, they've redesigned S Pen with a hexagonal shape and new tip which actually feels natural and more comfortable with improved precisision for long writing sessions.
