Online shopping platform Lazada has announced a major partnership with Gmarket, South Korea’s largest and most well-known online marketplace, to bring over 20 million products directly to shoppers across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, South China Morning Post reported.
Gmarket is South Korea’s version of a giant, all-encompassing online mall, similar to Amazon or eBay. It sells literally everything: fashion, homeware, gadgets, and highly sought-after beauty and personal-care products.
You'll be able to browse through a massive new range of authentic Korean goods from popular brands, including Sulwhasoo, d'Alba, Mediheal, COSRX, Skinfood, Laneige, and more.
A dedicated Gmarket store has launched inside LazMall today, 29 September, removing complex shipping and customs headaches of ordering directly from abroad. Product listings are localised and easily searchable in English.
Lazada guarantees that all products are sold directly by verified Korean sellers and are covered by its product authenticity guarantee.
Orders placed on the Gmarket storefront are fulfilled using Lazada’s established logistics network. You can expect on-time delivery and reliable tracking from Lazada, even though the product is coming from South Korea.
The after-sales services for Gmarket products will be jointly handled by both Lazada and Gmarket. In the event something goes wrong, you can rely on Lazada’s customer service team, rather than having to communicate to a team in South Korea.
