Slightly Better Performance

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

The Galaxy S24 FE is equipped with Samsung's Exynos 2400e chip, while the Galaxy S25 FE is sporting an Exynos 2400 chipset. Both processors are capable of handling apps like social media, however, it’s only in very demanding situations, such as a long, high-graphic gaming session, that the standard Exynos 2400 might show a slight performance advantage.

Exynos 2400 is the full-power chip for those who want the absolute maximum performance, while the Exynos 2400e is a slightly more efficient version that delivers a near-identical experience for most people, all while keeping the phone cooler.

Additionally, the Galaxy S25 FE gives you a new, top-end storage option of 512GB, double the 256GB maximum on the Galaxy S24 FE. So, if you're someone who captures lots of 4K video or have a large collection of games and apps, the Galaxy S25 FE wins this one.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

Bigger Battery

The Galaxy S25 FE trumps its younger sibling in terms of battery life, with a larger 4,900mAh battery compared to the Galaxy S24 FE's 4,700mAh. Even better, it supports a much faster 45W wired charging speed (compared to 25W). This means you can get your phone’s battery to 65% in just 30 minutes, while the Galaxy S24 FE only gets to 50% in the same amount of time.

However, it's worth mentioning that due to the Galaxy S24 FE's Exynos 2400e chipset, power efficiency and thermal management on this device has a slight upper hand over the Galaxy S25 FE. The phone consumes a little less power when under extreme load. won't get as hot and the battery might last a little longer during heavy use.

Upgraded Front Camera

Here's where they look similar on paper. Both the Galaxy S24 FE and 25 FE actually have the same rear cameras, which consists of a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

Now, if you love taking selfies, you'll appreciate the jump from a 10MP front camera on the Galaxy S24 FE to a 12MP front camera on the new model. So, more detailed photos and clearer video calls!

What Stays the Same

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Despite the key upgrades, the S25 FE keeps the winning formula of its predecessor, so you won't be losing any core features.

The Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S25 FE feature the same bright and vibrant 6.7-inch AMOLED 2x display with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. This means your content, from social media to gaming, will look just as good on either device.

The core camera system remains unchanged. Both models feature the same 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Your main photos will look just as sharp and detailed on either phone.

Both flagship phones share the same premium Armor Aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus+ materials, along with the IP68 rating for excellent water and dust resistance.

The Galaxy S25 FE isn't a massive overhaul, but it brings meaningful improvements in the areas that matter most: battery life, charging speed, and how the phone feels in your hand. While the core features like the screen and main cameras remain the same, the quality-of-life upgrades make it a worthwhile contender for anyone looking for a great phone at a more accessible price.

Between the two; if you want an enhanced screen and hinge, better battery and a more efficient FlexWindow to use, the upgrades in the Galaxy Z Flip7 is a winner to us!

But... if power and a cheaper price tag is what you want, Flip6 might be what you are after.
