British audio specialist Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) has launched its new flagship wireless headphone, the Px8 S2, in Malaysia at RM3,299. Positioned as the ultimate statement in premium wireless audio, the Px8 S2 builds on the success of the award-winning Px7 S3 and Px8.

The Px8 S2’s evolved design has been engineered for extended comfort, with a slimmer profile than its predecessor and a more compact carry case for easy portability. Every surface is finished to the highest standard: ultra-soft Nappa leather covers the headband and earcups, while lightweight aluminium arms with exposed cable detailing balance strength with refined style.
Available in Onyx Black and Warm Stone, both with colour-coordinated detailing, the Px8 S2 is built for lasting pride of ownership, with replaceable ear cushions and headband serviced by Bowers & Wilkins engineers.

As with Px7 S3, the new Px8 S2 features eight high-performance microphones, carefully located around the periphery of each ear cup and working together to deliver the best results. Two of them measure the output of each drive unit, four positioned at opposite ends of each earcup to ensure the best possible coverage – monitor ambient noise from the outside world, and two more provide outstanding voice clarity.
Careful positioning and angling of those microphones enhances performance even in the noisiest environments. When making calls, unwanted noise is effectively suppressed by the latest generation of voice processing technology, ADI Pure Voice. All eight microphones work in conjunction with the noise-cancelling and voice-processing technologies to ensure outstanding call clarity wherever you are.
All-Day Use
Offering 30 hours of battery life with full noise cancellation engaged, the Px8 S2 delivers all-day listening and more on a single charge, while a 15-minute quick recharge provides up to seven additional hours of playback.
The Px8 S2 can be configured and controlled via the Bowers & Wilkins Music app, which allows users to adjust noise-cancelling transparency, monitor battery levels, set wear-sensor sensitivity, and customise the Quick Action button. An adjustable five-band EQ with preset memory is also available, alongside True Sound mode for the preferred acoustic tuning developed by the Southwater Research Establishment team. Physical controls remain on each earcup, with a revised layout for more intuitive operation of playback, volume and power, plus easy access to noise-cancelling options or a voice assistant.
Future-ready by design, the Px8 S2 will receive a series of over-the-air updates, beginning with support for spatial audio later this year. Bluetooth® LE Audio with Auracast™ broadcast functionality will follow, ensuring the headphones continue to evolve with the latest audio innovations.
