OPPO Malaysia has officially launched the OPPO A6 Pro 5G, which it’s calling the most powerful device in its popular A-series yet. The A-series has always been known as a more budget-friendly option, with powerful capabilities equipped for competitive gaming.
The A6 Pro maintains a slim 8mm design and features a stunning 120Hz AMOLED display, but the standout feature of the A6 Pro is its massive 6,500mAh battery. Thanks to a high-density graphite cell design, this phone offers a new standard for battery life, providing up to 19 hours of video playback or over 37 hours of calls. This means you can count on it for an entire day—or even more—without worrying about finding a power socket.
Paired with this huge battery is OPPO’s 80W SUPERVOOC™ Flash Charge technology, which can charge the phone to 100% in just 50 minutes. This lightning-fast charging ensures you're never out of power for long. The phone also has a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main lens and a 2-megapixel secondary lens, along with a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies.
Beyond its long-lasting battery, the OPPO A6 Pro is also built to be incredibly durable. To prove its incredible durability, OPPO staged a dramatic demonstration: two fire rescuers jumped on wooden planks placed directly on top of the phone. Despite a combined weight of approximately 190.5kg, the OPPO A6 Pro emerged completely undamaged, living up to its IP69 water and dust resistance and Military-Grade Shock Resistance.
During the launch, OPPO announced collaborations with tech powerhouse MediaTek and a local esports crew, JP Niners Empire to cement the A6 Pro's intense gaming and perform like a champ in competitive play. OPPO also continued its partnership with Bomba (Malaysia's Fire and Rescue Department), releasing a video to honour these heroes.
A Special Roadshow at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya
The OPPO A6 Pro 5G (16GB RAM + 256GB ROM) is now available in Stellar Blue and Coral Pink, retailing at RM1,199. To celebrate the launch, OPPO is holding a special 5-day roadshow at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, until 28 September.
