Samsung is inviting Malaysians to get hands-on with their Galaxy Z Series devices at the Unfold Club, a unique pop-up event at Raintree Plaza, The Exchange TRX.
Held within a Z-shaped layout that pays homage to the Galaxy Z series, we were welcomed into a space populated by all things Samsung to experience all the features available on its latest smartphones and wearables.
The festivities kicked off with a 5km run through the heart of Kuala Lumpur, followed by a refreshing matcha session and a high-energy rave.
AI Adding Some Zing To Your Day-to-Day
At the center of the event are the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, devices that are as versatile as they are compact. But, it's really the AI that's been the focal point of these devices this year.
Here, you get to try out Galaxy AI and Gemini Live on the phones with interactive quizzes. There were photos framed on the walls and props such as fridges set up in the space, where you could ask AI to help answer them. It could identify anything from local kuihs to South Korean celebrities such as BTS' Jungkook.
The AI also works with connected devices like the Samsung smart fridge through SmartThings, helping you track ingredients that are about to expire and even suggesting recipes based on what's inside.
Not Just Galaxy Z Series There...
The experience doesn’t end with the Z series, not leaving out other key devices in the Galaxy ecosystem. The Galaxy S25 series makes an appearance, allowing visitors to solve tiny mathematical quizzes hidden in the venue using its camera’s capabilities.
And if you're into fitness, you can try on the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic to test out advanced health features like antioxidant level measurements and heart rate tracking.
The Unfold Club event also comes with cute goodies to take home. You can snag a mystery gift at the claw machine or personalise your own phone charm at the Phone Beads workshop.
The Unfold Club is running daily from 10am to 10pm until 28 September 2025.
