After the release of their first-ever over-ear headphones, Nothing is adding another minimalistic wearable to their roster. This time, it's their next-generation wireless earbuds, the Ear (3), which combines advanced acoustics, a new design, and a unique new feature that sets a new standard for personal audio.
The Ear (3) keeps Nothing's signature transparent aesthetic but for the first time integrates sleek metal components into both the earbuds and the case.
Ear (3) Comes In A Case That Listens
The standout feature of the Ear (3) is the Super Mic, a dual-microphone system housed within the charging case itself.
With at tap of a "TALK" button, this mic can focus on your voice and cut through surrounding noise up to 95 dB (that's as loud as an electric drill or the ramp of an airline jet terminal). So, your voice is going to come across perfectly clear during calls in noisy environments.
The Super Mic can also be used to instantly record voice notes that sync to your phone and are automatically transcribed for easy access.
Sound & Noise Cancellation
Each earbud also contains three additional microphones and a bone-conduction Voice Pick-up Unit that detects vibrations from your jaw and ear canal. This system, along with an AI environmental noise-cancellation system trained on over 20 million hours of audio, isolates your voice and suppresses wind noise by over 25dB.
The Real-time Adaptive Noise Cancellation in the earbuds can block out up to 45 dB of noise.
An upgraded 12mm dynamic driver with a new patterned diaphragm provides a wider soundstage, boosting bass by 4-6 dB and treble by up to 4 dB for rich, clean audio.
Battery & Performance
You can enjoy up to 10 hours of continuous listening on a single charge of the earbuds, an improvement of 90 minutes over the previous model.
The Ear (3) uses Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC for high-quality, stable audio and offers a low-latency mode for gaming.
With an IP54 rating for dust, sweat, and light rain, the earbuds are durable enough for everyday use.
Price & Availability in Malaysia
Ear (3) will be available in Black and White for RM759. General sales will begin on 6 October 2025 at Nothing's website, as well as their official Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
