Acer has unveiled the new Predator Helios 18P AI laptop for users who need a machine that can handle both serious work and intense gaming.
It goes beyond a typical gaming laptop by supporting desktop-level AI computing, making it perfect for professionals like AI developers, content creators, and gamers who need a single device for everything.

Performance and Durability
The heart of this machine is an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 285HX with Intel vPro, which provides a solid foundation with hardware-level security and stability.
The laptop supports up to 192 GB of ECC memory, a special type of RAM that automatically detects and corrects data errors. So if you work with important data, it dramatically reduces the risk of system crashes and file corruption.
For graphics, the laptop is powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with DLSS 4 for gaming and creative tasks. It also features a lightning-fast 6 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD, the latest Thunderbolt 5 Type-C port, and advanced Killer Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7.
Design
The laptop comes with a large, stunning 18-inch, 16:10 Mini LED display. This screen features a 4K WQUXGA (3840 x 2400) resolution with HDR mode at 1000 nits and 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy, making it an ideal display for professional creative workflows like video editing, 3D rendering, and AI-powered image generation.
To keep the system running cool under pressure, Acer uses its own advanced cooling solution, which includes dual AeroBlade metal fans (the thinnest cooling fan blades in the world), a liquid metal thermal paste, and vector heat pipes.
Acer also unveiled other new Predator products to accompany the setup. The Predator X27U F8 monitor features a 26.5-inch OLED WQHD display with an unbelievably fast 720 Hz refresh rate. For competitive gamers who want a clean, minimalist setup, the Predator Aethon 550 KKL gaming keyboard is a compact, tenkeyless (TKL) keyboard with hot-swappable switches, tri-mode connectivity, and customisable per-key RGB lighting.
Pricing and Availability
The new Predator Helios 18P AI will be available in North America starting at $3,999 and in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) starting at €4,999. Official pricing in Malaysia has not been unveiled yet, but overseas pricing suggests that the laptop may be sold from RM16,000 onwards.
