Apple Event Sept 2025: About The Apple Watch 11 SE 3 - Price in Malaysia & Features

Apple has officially unveiled the next generation of its popular, more affordable smartwatch, the Apple Watch SE 3. While it keeps the same great value, this new model packs in a surprising number of premium features previously reserved for more expensive watches.

Design & Display

The new S10 chip allows for an Always-On display, so you can glance at the time or notifications without having to raise your wrist.

The display's glass is also 4x more resistant to cracks than the previous model, making it the toughest glass available in a smartwatch.

With watchOS 26, Apple Watch SE 3 will come with Liquid Glass, giving a refreshing and expressive experience across the Photos watch face, Smart Stack widgets, Smart Stack hints, notifications, Control Center, and in-app controls and navigation.

A redesigned watch face gallery with two new watch faces: Flow, which uses Liquid Glass numerals that beautifully refract swirls of color that also respond to the movement of a user’s wrist, and Exactograph, a modern reinterpretation of a traditional regulator clock that separates the hours, minutes, and seconds for precise timekeeping. In addition, over 20 watch faces are updated so users can see a ticking seconds hand without raising their wrist.

Performance

Also thanks to the new S10 chip, there's a faster on-device Siri, now with the ability to access and log health data. For requests that do not require information from the internet, such as starting a workout or setting a timer, results are delivered more quickly and with more reliable responses.

The S10 chip also brings the double tap and wrist flick gestures to Apple Watch SE 3, allowing users to do even more on Apple Watch with one hand. With the double tap gesture, users can simply tap their thumb and index finger together twice to select the primary action in a wide variety of apps and notifications, including opening the Smart Stack, answering and ending calls, viewing and sending a message, pausing or ending a timer, snoozing an alarm, and more.
When a user raises their wrist to check a notification or call but isn’t ready to respond, the wrist flick gesture on Apple Watch SE 3 allows them to quickly turn their wrist over and back to dismiss the notification.
Apple Watch SE 3 allows users to play media, like music or podcasts, directly through its built-in speaker. For Phone or FaceTime audio calls, the S10 chip also powers Voice Isolation to suppress background noise, so a user’s voice sounds crisp and clear on the other end of the line — even in noisy environments.
Besides that, watchOS 26 brings the Notes app to your wrist, allows for Live Translation of messages, and introduces Call Screening and Hold Assist to help you manage phone calls more efficiently.
And for the first time ever on an SE, the watch supports fast charging. You can now get up to eight hours of battery life with just a 15-minute charge, or get to about 80% battery in just 45 minutes. This is 2x faster than the previous model.
The watch now also features 5G cellular capabilities, providing faster downloads and more efficient power usage. Apple is appealing this new SE model to children who don't have their own iPhone, providing parents with peace of mind through Find My and Emergency SOS, while giving kids independence and connectivity.

New Health & Fitness Features

For the first time on an SE model, you get a new Wrist Temperature sensor, which can provide insights into your overall well-being. This data also enables Retrospective Ovulation Estimates, which can help with family planning.

Additionally, the watch can now provide Sleep Apnea notifications if it detects signs of a breathing issue after 30 days of consistent tracking. A new Sleep Score feature also helps you understand the quality of your sleep, giving you insights into what you can do to improve it. 

Workout Buddy, the new AI-powered personal trainer, provides personalised, spoken motivation throughout your workout based on your performance data, such as heart rate, pace, and distance.

Apple Watch SE 3- Price in Malaysia

The Apple Watch SE 3 series is available for pre-order right now and will be available nationwide starting 19 September 2025. 

Apple Watch SE 3 starts at RM1,049 .

watchOS 26 will be available for Apple Watch Series 6 or later, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), and all Apple Watch Ultra models on Monday, 15 September, and requires iPhone 11 or later running iOS 26.
