As the indispensable timepiece for millions of people, Apple has continued to focus on its health support such as iconic features like fall detection, heart and blood level monitor.
At the start, Apple shared a montage of users who depended on the Apple Watch as a key player in their health, which opened up to the introduction of making the Watch 11 series even more essential.
In this generation, expect new features & upgrades such as new heart health and sleep upgrades, 5G cellular support, a more resistant body and watchfaces.

Design & Display
Apple Watch 11 series is made incredibly durable, designed to accompany users throughout the day. It has a cover glass for the aluminum models, which offers 2x more scratch resistance.
Made from a unique ion-exchanged strengthened glass, a custom, proprietary glass that is already the toughest in the industry — the display is now treated with a breakthrough Ceramic coating that bonds to the glass at an atomic level through a physical vapor deposition process, significantly hardening the surface to achieve greater resistance.
Meanwhile the titanium models will continue to have a sapphire front crystal, the most scratch-resistant and crack-resistant material covering a display.
Performance
Apple Watch Series 11 now offers up to 24 hours of battery life with its thin and comfortable design, designed to enable comfortable sleep in it. The Apple Watch Series 11 also supports fast charging, with just 15 minutes providing up to eight hours of battery life.
Now coming with 5G cellular capabilities, Apple Watch 11 series can achieve better performance with greater throughput, so music, podcasts, and apps download faster. To boost reception in areas with weak coverage, Apple Watch Series 11 also features a redesigned cellular antenna to cover more bands, and simultaneously engages the two system antennas when needed, significantly increasing the signal strength.
New Features
Building on its suite of advanced health features, Apple Watch Series 11 introduces hypertension notifications, which can alert users if signs of chronic high blood pressure — or hypertension — are detected.
Hypertension notifications on Apple Watch use data from the optical heart sensor to analyze how a user’s blood vessels respond to the beats of the heart. The algorithm works passively in the background reviewing data over 30-day periods, and will notify users if it detects consistent signs of hypertension.
An improved Sleep Score is now available thanks to watchOS 26; Apple Watch can help users understand the quality of their sleep and how to make it more restorative with a new sleep score feature. The improved and included metrics are analysed daily to help users achieve the best sleep possible.
There's also Workout Buddy, a first-of-its-kind fitness experience powered by Apple Intelligence that analyzes a user’s workout data and fitness history to deliver personalized, spoken motivation throughout their exercising sessions.
Additionally, there's also a new one-handed wrist flick gesture to easily dismiss notifications, stop a timer, or silence an alarm, joining the double tap gesture to allow users to do even more on Apple Watch when their other hand is occupied.

The Apple Watch 3 series is available in several colours and finishes:
- Aluminium Finish: Space Gray, Jet Black, Rose Gold and Silver
- Titanium Finish: Natural, Gold, and Slate
Apple Watch Series 11 is also available in 42mm and 46mm sizes. For those interested in additional accessories, there's also an Apple Watch Hermès variant available in 42mm and 46mm sizes in silver titanium.
Apple Watch 11 Series - Price in Malaysia
The Apple Watch 3 series is available for pre-order right now and will be available nationwide starting 19 September 2025. Prices will start from USD $399. Malaysian prices have yet to be announced.
