Today, Samsung officially unveiled the fan-edition of the Galaxy S25 during the Galaxy Unpacked 2025.
Like the current Galaxy S24 FE, the Galaxy S25 FE would offer a lot of the same features as the Galaxy S25 lineup, scaling back on some features in exchange for lower starting point.
Prices for the Galaxy S25 FE start from RM3,099, with available pre-order promos for Malaysians effective from 4 September 2025.

Performance
The Galaxy S25 FE is running on the Exynos 2400 chipset, which has the same processor as the Galaxy S24. So you can expect decent performance and run Galaxy AI pretty smoothly.
Plus, it is the first phone in the FE series to come straight out of the box with the new One UI 8, that promises a smarter Galaxy AI experience. Powered by Google Gemini, the device is equipped with advanced multimodal AI capabilities, allowing you to interact more naturally through the camera, voice, and text. From composing emails with Writing Assist to generating videos with Veo 3, the Galaxy S25 FE is equipped with a suite of useful AI features.
Design
It measures at 7.4mm and weighs 190g, compared to the Galaxy S25’s 7.2mm and 162g. So, it is slightly heavier and thicker to hold than its flagship counterpart.
Samsung has also made the Galaxy S25 FE tougher and more scratch-resistant with enhanced Armour Aluminium, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and an IP68 rating — which is great, because at this point, a fan-edition phone should naturally come with basic protection. Other than that, it carries the signature sleek Samsung smartphone look.
Camera
There’s a 12MP selfie camera, which is a 20% bump from the Galaxy S24 FE (your selfies are gonna be crisp), a 12MP ultrawide, a 50MP wide, and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
The camera on this device is equipped with a powerful AI ProVisual Engine, which is like having a professional photographer built right in. The Object Aware Engine instantly recognises what you're photographing and uses Scene Optimise to automatically fine-tune settings for the perfect shot. For advanced creative tools, Photo Assist can help you edit and enhance your pictures.
Samsung has also brought Instant Slow-mo previously introduced in the Galaxy S25 to the FE version. You can apply a super-smooth slow motion effect to videos on your camera roll by just holding down a finger on the screen. The AI can even generate new frames to make your videos smoother and more fluid. There's also Generative Edit to fix imperfections, and Audio Eraser to get rid of background noise in your videos. This is all capped off by a fantastic Nightography mode that uses 10-bit HDR to capture brilliant, vivid colours in low light.
