The tablet line by Samsung has finally revealed itself at the latest Galaxy Unpacked 2025, held online official Samsung website & Samsung Youtube channel. Watch the recorded livestream here:
This time, the Galaxy Tab S11 series, comprising Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, has gotten a small revamp to stand out as the next productivity-focused tablet choice for the masses.
TLDR: Notable Updates
Compared to the previous Galaxy Tab S10 series, the Galaxy Tab S11 series are designed with—no surprise—boost in performance. Powered by Dimensity 9400 Plus, the Tab S11 series will see performance by 24% higher in CPU, 27% more in GPU and 33% more in NPU.
Both the base and the Ultra model will also enjoy 12GB of RAM, and storage space of up to 256GB for the base, and up to 512GB for the Ultra model. Screen-wise, they will come with Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness. The series also has IP68 certification for water and dust resistancy.
While the Tab S11 series will have the same size as the Galaxy Tab S10 series (14.6-inch for ultra and 11-inch for base), both models are much lighter and thinner as well.
The base and ultra models will be 5.1mm slim, with the Ultra weighing 692g and the base weighing 469g.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will get 11,600mAh and 8,400mAh for the base model. As for colour choices, Galaxy Tab S11 series will be available in colours Gray and Silver.
Productivity & Galaxy AI
Rest assured that the tablets will enjoy the latest AI tools and features, as they will ship with One UI 8. Fortified with Galaxy AI and integrated with Google Gemini Live, users will be able to enjoy the AI benefits from the likes of Writing Assist and Drawing Assist. Producitivity has also been re-imagined as the window tabs will now be moveable overlays you can easily arrange according to your preference.
Two star features that have evolved are Samsung DeX and the included Galaxy S Pen. Samsung DeX now has upgraded Extended mode whereby you can use it as an additional monitor and supports up to 4 separated workspaces now, customisable to your liking.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S Pen has also been redesigned with a hexagonal pencil grip, with a cone-shaped tip. This S Pen version (tried and tested) will bring more comfort and relaxed grip as well as a more natural hand-feel when being used. It also does not require any charging, which means immediate use without guessing whether your S Pen has any juice.
