September is going to be a jam-packed month for tech enthusiasts. Just a day after Apple unveiled the official date for its September event, Samsung announced that it will be hosting another Unpacked event on 4 September.
The event, which will available to watch online at 5.30pm Malaysian time, comes just after the launches of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 in July, and the Galaxy S25 series in January.
In a press release, Samsung said it will unveil "a wider range of devices — from premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family."
What's Going To Be "Unpacked" At The Event
Samsung will likely introduce new tablets at the upcoming Unpacked.
There's the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, which the South Korean company recently announced. Branded as an "affordable" tablet, the device will come with a 10.9-inch screen, 8000mAh battery capacity, accompanied by an in-box S Pen.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will be available starting September 5 and will be offered in three colors: Gray, Silver and Coral Red.
Multiple reports have also suggested that there may be a new Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra being in the works. And you may be able to glimpse them at the upcoming Unpacked event.
According to SamMobile, the standard Tab S11 is expected to feature a vibrant AMOLED screen, a large 8,400mAh battery, and a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. Meanwhile, the larger Tab S11 Ultra is rumoured to have a similar chipset but will feature an even bigger AMOLED screen, up to 16GB of RAM, and a massive 11,600mAh battery.
Both new tablets are expected to feature premium build materials and come with an in-box S Pen.
There may be the unveiling of a new "fan edition" phone, the Galaxy S25 FE — a more affordable alternative to the flagship Galaxy S25.
Based on leaks, the S25 FE is expected to be an improvement on its predecessor, the S24 FE. It will likely come with a bigger 4,900mAh battery, faster wired charging speeds, and an upgraded 12-megapixel selfie camera.
The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com and Samsung’s YouTube channel. You can watch it here:
