WebSHIELD is a new mobile security suite by CelcomDigi that protects smartphones from online threats before they even reach the device.
It's a network-based security service powered by Cisco's global threat intelligence to automatically block phishing attempts, fake websites, and malicious downloads the moment users connect to CelcomDigi's mobile network.
Running silently in the background, this security app does not require any additional setup. It blocks harmful websites before they load and prevents access to sites hosting malicious software. Besides that, it dentifies and stops suspicious or newly-registered domains linked to fast-moving scams.
WebSHIELD complements MobileSHIELD, which safeguards against digital threats like scams, malicious apps, identity leaks, and privacy threats.
They work to provide a complete network and device protection, forming a "shield" against evolving cyber threats.
You can subscribe to WebSHIELD via the Celcom Life or MyDigi apps. CelcomDigi encourages customers to subscribe to WebSHIELD between 21 August and 20 November to enjoy a special promotional rate of RM1 per month.
