Samsung Electronics have introduced AI-powered Bixby voice assistant on its 2025 TV lineup.
Bixby is now powered by Generative AI like ChatGPT and Gemini, so you can converse more naturally with the TV. It can now understands context and follow-up questions, allowing you to ask anything. It could be general trivia like "How tall is Petronas Twin Towers?" or playlist suggestions for any vibe you're looking for.

By simply asking, Bixby can help you with questions about the shows you're watching on-screen, such as a food item, a movie location, or an actor. (We've all spent hours researching a new celeb crush, imagine being able to do it straight from the TV :P). It retrieves the most relevant details and displays them on screen. The goal is for you to talk to Bixby as if it's a personal helper.
It also enables smart home control via SmartThings, turning the TV into a central hub for multiple Samsung home appliances. Speak directly to the screen and take full advantage of the SmartThings ecosystem to carry out voice commands. You could be turning off the oven without lifting your bum off the sofa.

You can easily activate by voice or by pressing the mic button to start a conversation. There's no need for trigger phrases, commands, toggling menus or typing. This smarter Bixby will be available on 2025 Samsung TVs, including Neo, QLED, OLED, The Frame, and QLED models.
