From now until 3 August 2025, Huawei is hosting a free-to-public Pura 80 Series Light & Shadow Pop-Up Event at Centre Court, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
This is an immersive roadshow that spotlights the new Pura 80 Series’ revolutionary camera system, elegant design, and intelligent imaging tech, while offering visitors hands-on experiences in low-light photography and expert-led workshops.
Try Out the New Pura 80 Series Camera Innovations
At the heart of the roadshow is the Pura 80 Series’ flagship XMAGE camera system, engineered for stunning clarity across diverse lighting conditions. Comprising the Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra, the series sport revolutionary sensors & lenses, optimised for low-light capture, with wide-aperture optics and advanced noise reduction.
At the same time, the camera works in tandem with intelligent algorithms to deliver the best results, whereby real-time scene detection and dynamic exposure adjustments are done to ensure balanced highlights and shadows.
HUAWEI Theater: Hands-On Low-Light Trials
At the event, visit the HUAWEI Theater installation where you can test the Pura 80 series in simulated real-world low-light scenarios. The star modes are Sunset —Warm tones and silhouette preservation at twilight, Concert — Sharp stage highlights and ambient crowd lighting, and Nightscape — Urban skylines and street-light details without blur.
Photography Workshops with Local Experts
Looking to improve your photography game? HUAWEI has partnered with Malaysian photographers Abeden Mung and Elvin Loew for free workshops at the Pavilion KL Experience Store.
Here you can enjoy the Mastering Mobile Photography Workshop where it will explore techniques for composition, lighting, and post-processing on the Pura 80. Meanwhile, the XMAGE Deep Dive Workshop will cover tips for leveraging AI features like scene optimizer and portrait enhancements.
After the workshops, visitors can also enjoy hands-on challenges: whereby they will receive themed assignments and receive in-session feedback.
