Apple is introducing a streamlined plan to protect your gadgets with the announcement of AppleCare One, a brand-new subscription service.
This plan builds on the company's existing AppleCare+ plan that only covers one device at a time.
What is AppleCare One?
For a monthly fee of $19.99 (about RM84.46), the basic plan covers up to three of your Apple products.
If you decide to add more devices, each additional product will cost an extra $5.99 (about RM25.31) per month, eliminating the need to buy separate plans for each device.

AppleCare One provides the same coverage as the standard AppleCare+ plan, including battery coverage, unlimited repairs for accidental damage, and 24/7 priority support.
Though, this singular plan does include theft and Loss coverage for iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches, which is usually an add-on with standard AppleCare+. If these devices are covered under your AppleCare One plan, this protection comes as standard.
AppleCare One Also Covers Older Gadgets

AppleCare One lets you devices up to four years old under the plan. However, these products should be in good condition and may be subjected to a diagnostic checks by the company before they can be added to your plan.
Headphones, on the other hand, can only be added to an AppleCare One plan if they are less than a year old.
This is unlike AppleCare+, which usually has a strict 60-day window from the product's purchase date to add coverage.
To sign up for AppleCare One, you can subscribe directly from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting an Apple Store, with the service becoming available from 24 July.
Apple is currently rolling out this subscription plan to those in the US first.
