Rakuten Kobo will be introducing a new integration with Instapaper, a popular "read it later" service, aiming for a "summer 2025" launch.
Instapaper is an app that allows users to save, read, and manage articles and other web content offline.

Reading on the Kobo eReader will be smoother, particularly for long-form content such as essays, books, recipes, and more. Readers can customise text settings, highlight specific texts, jot down notes, and even has a text-to-speech functionality.
Plus,A Be it iPhone, iPad, Android, Kobo, or Kindle, you can access saved content anywhere and anytime.
This integration comes after Pocket — another "read-it-later" service — announced that it would be discontinued.

Instapaper will be helping Pocket users migrate to their services.
