Acer Malaysia kicked off Acer Day 2025 with a trio of gaming essentials designed for high performance without breaking the bank. Leading the charge is the Predator X27U X2, a 27″ WQHD Quantum-Dot OLED monitor boasting 240 Hz and 0.03 ms response.
Joining it are the Nitro 50 desktop—powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 and NVIDIA RTX 5060—and the compact Nitro TKL NKW129 tenkeyless keyboard. Together, they deliver buttery-smooth visuals, solid frame rates, and precision controls for gamers seeking upgrade paths that balance power, price, and practicality.
Predator X27U X2: Hyper-Fast Quantum-Dot OLED
Acer’s new Predator X27U X2 monitor brings pro-level visuals to gamers on a budget. It beholds a WQHD (2560×1440) QD OLED Panel that displays perfect blacks, 99% DCI-P3, and 1,500,000:1 contrast for vivid colours.
Ensuring fast visuals can be enjoyed, the monitor is capable of a 240 Hz Refresh & 0.03 ms Response rating, eliminating blur and ghosting in fast-paced titles.
The monitor is also equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to sync frames, offer zero tearing and HDR tone mapping capabilities.
Packed along is also an ErgoStand & VisionCare specifications, the former which is a fully adjustable stand and the latter fortified with BlueLightShield Pro for longer viewing sessions.
Finally, the monitor also has burn-in protection which is achieved with automated pixel-shifting and screen savers, guard against OLED burn-in.
Nitro 50 (N50-660): Compact Powerhouse with RTX 5060
The Nitro 50 desktop squeezes high-end components into an 18L chassis, with a CPU & GPU combo that supports up to Intel Core Ultra 7 265F with integrated NPU for AI tasks, and as high-end as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 for ray-traced visuals.
Connectivity support is also updated with Wi-Fi 7 that offers ultra-low latency wireless internet, and NitroSense capabilities with a one-click fan control for steady performance under load.
The CPU also come with NVIDIA DLSS 4 & Studio Support that offers boosted frame rates and accelerated content creation workflows.
Nitro 50 Desktop is available with two Intel configurations, either with Intel Core Ultra 5 (RM 4,399) or Ultra 7 (RM 5,299).
Nitro TKL NKW129 Keyboard: Space-Saving Precision
Acer’s Nitro TKL NKW129 keyboard brings desk-space savings and competitive accuracy with its tenkeyless layout, freeing up desktop space for sweeping mouse motions which is always appreciated for FPS and MOBA gamers.
The keyboard features 19 keys with anti-ghosting capability, ensuring that every combo registers, even during frantic gameplay, when you assign actions within these keys. Lastly, the keyboard also allows for customsiation lightning with its 3-Zone LED backlight.
Nitro TKL NKW129 retails for an affordable price of RM 149 — a sweet deal for a performance-focused TKL board.
