Nothing’s first true flagship, Phone (3), will be coming to Malaysia on 19 July 2025. The brand has taken a fresh approach to smartphone interaction with its Glyph Matrix micro-LED back display, pro-grade camera system, and the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform.

Built to spark creativity and reduce screen fatigue, Phone (3) combines iconic design, powerful AI-driven features in Nothing OS 3.5, and industry-leading performance—all from RM3,299 for the 12 GB+256 GB model.

Nothing has reimagined the Phone (3)'s aesthetics with a tri-column back layout, 1.87 mm uniform bezels, and a new R-angle frame for comfort. The phone is also outstanding for its Glyph Matrix—a grid of micro-LEDs—provides glanceable notifications, app-specific alerts, and playful “Glyph Toys” like a digital clock or mini-games.

  • Ergonomics: Slimmer 1.87 mm bezels (18% narrower than Phone (2)) for a 92.89% screen-to-body ratio.
  • Glyph Matrix Uses: Contact icons, battery indicators, Flip to Record, Glyph Toys (Mirror, Solar Clock, Spin the Bottle).
  • Community-Driven: Two Glyph Toys—Magic 8 Ball and Leveler—co-created with Nothing’s community; public SDK now available.

The Nothing Phone (3) is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip which commands 36% faster CPU, 88% stronger GPU, 60% AI boost over Phone (2). Not only that, but Phone (3) is said to handle better multitasking, gaming, and AI tasks effortlessly. Its 5150 mAh silicon-carbon battery plus 65 W wired and 15 W wireless charging ensure all-day power.

Currently, online sources (GSMArena) has revealed that the phone beholds a rear triple 50MP camera setup. This is also the same for its single front camera that is a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5.

Photographers will also be able to enjoy its 1/1.3″ main sensor, lossless optical zoom, and 4K 60 fps OIS video on every lens. Advanced presets developed with professional photographers deliver cinematic looks out of the box.

  • Main Camera: Large 1/1.3″ sensor for richer low-light detail and dynamic range.
  • Tele & Ultra-Wide: Lossless zoom steps plus ultra-wide consistency, all with OIS.
  • Front Camera: 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 for crisp selfies and video calls.
  • Live Photo Ultra HDR: Captures 1.5 s pre/post shutter with true HDR clarity.

And when it comes to software support, Phone (3) will debut with Nothing OS 3.5 on Android 15, delivering a minimalist UI with Essential Search, Flip to Record, and Essential Space—a central AI-powered hub for notes, summaries, and saved content. Android 16 and OS 4.0 will arrive in Q3 2025, along with 5 years of OS and 7 years of security updates.
