Following its official global release in Dubai, HUAWEI Malaysia has confirmed the launch and arrival of photography-focused Pura 80 Series—including the Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra—to arrive on Malaysian shores this 24 July 2025.
The Pura 80 Series will feature a camera with world-first switchable dual telephoto on the Ultra, a 1″ low-light sensor on the Pro, and HUAWEI’s XMAGE engine. Both models also feature Ultra-fast 100W wired and 80W wireless SuperCharge, durable Kunlun Glass protection, and an AI Smart Controls Button for personalised shortcuts.

Photography Prowess
The HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra and Pura 80 Pro introduces a Dazzling Forward Symbol design that's inspired by the timeless sunray motifs seen in fine jewellery and luxury timepieces. This radiant sunburst pattern is crafted in a way to flaunt a sophisticated play of light and shadow.
Adorned on the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra’s lens is also an entrancing golden ring , forming the Pura series' iconic forward symbol that represents HUAWEI's spirit of progress and innovation, creating a stunning visual centrepiece.
On the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra will be an industry-first Switchable Dual Telephoto Camera, which combines a super-large photosensitive area with versatile 3.7x and 9.4x focal lengths to produce cinematic portraits and striking, razor-sharp close-ups with dramatic spatial depth.
The telephoto module uses a mechanical shutter to switch between two optical paths, allowing it to share the same 1/1.28-inch sensor. Meanwhile on the HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro is a groundbreaking 1-inch Ultra Lighting Camera that maximises light intake for exceptional detail in low-light conditions, whereas the Ultra Chroma Camera ensures accurate colour reproduction, delivering vivid, true-to-life nightscapes with impressive clarity.
Powered by an upgraded XMAGE imaging system, HUAWEI Pura 80 Series integrates the industry’s largest telephoto sensor and advanced algorithms to deliver crystal-clear images in high-magnification and challenging lighting scenarios.
From intricate architectural elements to expansive city skylines, the series is designed to capture vivid night atmospheres with precise hues and natural saturation. It redefines stage photography and videography, capturing ultra-clear performance details and vibrant colours even from a distance. Meanwhile, its 4K video capabilities should offer high-fidelity footage, vividly recreating live experiences with remarkable realism.

HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro and HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra will feature an all-new AI Smart Controls Button, offering instant access to personalised functions such as the camera, torch, or AI lens, all with a single tap.
Enhanced with fingerprint recognition for added security, this ensures a smooth, seamless, and secure operation of the Pura 80 series.
