Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has unveiled a new digital lifestyle app, the KITS Style SuperApp, to streamline public transport while offering services for everyday lifestyle needs.
A Mobility-as-a-Service Platform
According to KTMB, the KITS Style offers a variety of services, including purchasing ETS, and all KTMB train services, booking flights, hotels, car rentals, renewing insurance, paying utility bills, transferring money, shopping online, and planning trips via the KITS AI Journey Planner.
You can also earn points from KTMB's Rail Rewards programmed with every train ticket purchase.
As for the points already accumulated in the KTMB mobile app, the railway company has assured that both apps — the KITS Style and KTMB — will keep track of your total points. Meanwhile, the balance of KTM Wallets are currently being carried out in stages.
KITS Style Mastercard Prepaid Card
KTMB plans to launch a open-loop transit prepaid card, in collaboration with Mastercard and ManagePay Systems Berhad (MPay).
With this KITS Style Mastercard Prepaid Card, Malaysians will be able to travel via public transportations within the country and also across ASEAN countries more conveniently.
A physical version of the prepaid card will be introduced in September, while a virtual card is already available via the KITS Style application.
