Highlights of Galaxy Z Flip7
Missed the key points? Let's recap. Galaxy Z Flip7 has an improved FlexWindow (cover screen) where you'll be able to control your phone better without unfolding it. Aside from that, AI features like the Now Bar, Gemini voice activation and Gemini Live can be used when the phone is folded close as well. Plus, you can now control camera settings during live shoots through FlexWindow.
These are some of the software updates to the Galaxy Z Flip7 vs Flip6., But rest assured that Flip6 will likely get most of these features too in its next OS upgrade as promised by Samsung to deliver a 7-year support roadmap.
Now, here are some more tangible differences between the two.

- A Better Cover Screen & Slimmer Bezel
Something amusing that was shared by Samsung representatives was that the cover screen (FlexWindow) was underwhelming in its use on the Flip6. It is there for convenience, but users had wished it could do more. Well, Samsung has decided to slim down the bezels and technically, open up more use space for the Flip7. Therefore, this allows more comfortable use such as the features mentioned before (Gemini, Now Bar and camera settings).
For visualisation, the Galaxy Z Flip6 has a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow whereas the Z Flip7 has a big 4.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display panel. This is done without any changes to the compact size of the Galaxy Z Flip7. Thus it is a win for the Flip7!

- Bigger Battery, Now Up To 31 Hours
Another win is that the Galaxy Z Flip7 has 4,300mAh battery which achieves 31 hours of video playback, compared to the 4,000mAh and 25 hours battery use in the Flip6. Just for context, size and weight between both phones are very similar, as the Flip6 weighs at 187g, whereas the Flip7 weighs 188g. That's just 1g difference.
Additionally, the Galaxy Z Flip7 now has a stronger Armour Flex Hinge like the Galaxy Z Fold7 that withstands better pressure against folds, and with a different adhesive to achieve a better, more durable screen. All in all, Galaxy Z Flip7 has beefed up!

- A Small Change in Performance
The Galaxy Z Flip6 came with a Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, whereas the Galaxy Z Flip7 comes with a Samsung Exynos 2500 (3nm).
Now, comparing both CPUs feel tricky, because the Snapdragon is primed for great performance, and this means it's best for flagship models. But this means it was also one of the causes for the Galaxy Z Flip6 to have slightly lower battery power.
Meanwhile, the Exynos CPU is meant for offering a good balance between power and durability, so its processing power is technically less emphasised on. While this can be interpreted as having less raw power than Snapdragon, I believe this is not the intention of Samsung for the Galaxy Z Flip7, because historically the Galaxy Z Flip phones have been catered to casual users who still wants the most important aspects in such a stylish and unique smartphone—camera and battery.
Hence, I think this is a good move for higher adoption of the Galaxy Z Flip7 among casual yet active smartphone users.
Any Similarities?
Both phones have the same 50MP Wide and 12MP Ultra-wide sensors for camera, same built and same design. The Flip phones have always been popular, so it's understandable why Samsung played it safe and just made tweaks to the popular features that matters for the Flip target audience.
Between the two; if you want an enhanced screen and hinge, better battery and a more efficient FlexWindow to use, the upgrades in the Galaxy Z Flip7 is a winner to us! If power and a cheaper price tag is what you want, Flip6 might be what you are after.,
