After receiving feedback from actual owners, PRO-NET, a subsidiary of PROTON, has unveiled some new updates (and even a new look) for the Proton e.MAS 7.
Smarter & More Connected Drives
The biggest highlight for tech-savvy drivers is the updated Flyme Auto operating system, which powers the e.MAS 7's infotainment.
Apple CarPlay is now a feature in the e.MAS 7. A highly requested feature, iPhone users can connect their phones for navigation, music, and more. And Android users are left out of the group, Android Auto connectivity is slated to arrive towards the end of 2025.
The system now supports additional apps like Zoom for Cars, izi.TRAVEL, and Vivaldi Browser, expanding the in-car experience beyond just driving. No more resetting your preferences every time you start the car! A new OTA update remembers your last-used settings.
New Aesthetics
Besides the software upgrades, the e.MAS 7 is vamping up its aesthetics and unique sound effects.
The saying goes, "Black goes well with everything." And it holds true here. By popular demand, a sleek new Obsidian Black exterior colour option has been introduced.
For the interior of the car, the Quartz Rose and Turquoise Green Premium variants will now offer an exclusive look in Alabaster White. These are limited to just 250 units each.

The EV's low-speed pedestrian warning system (often nicknamed the "ice cream truck" sound) now offers more choices. Drivers can select from two new sound profiles: Galactic Note and Space Walk, alongside the existing Classical tone. Once chosen, your preferred melody will stick, playing every time you start the car.
"Power Pack+" Package
PRO-NET has put together a new sales package called "Power Pack+", offering the following:

Power Home: A free 7kW home charger (worth RM1,500) for convenient charging at home.

Power Plus: A complimentary V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) adapter (worth RM500), allowing you to power external devices using your car's battery.

Power Online: Five years of unlimited internet data (worth RM1,800) so you're always connected.

Power Thru: An extended 6-year unlimited mileage warranty for the vehicle, plus an 8-year/160,000 km warranty for the high-voltage battery.

Power Exchange: A trade-in rebate worth RM5,000 when you swap your old car for a new e.MAS 7.
Additionally, a tonneau cover, previously an accessory, now comes standard with all new e.MAS 7 variants. Existing owners will also receive this cover free of charge.
The refreshed Proton e.MAS 7 is now available nationwide at all authorised Proton e.MAS dealerships.
