Corsair M55 RGB Pro Gaming Mouse: Ambidextrous Agility for All Gamers

The Corsair M55 RGB Pro Gaming Mouse (wired) at RM119 is crafted for broad appeal due to its subtle yet unique ambidextrous design. This means both left-handed or right-handed gamers will be able to enjoy using this mouse, be it a shooting or action RPG game, ensuring comfort and performance for everyone.
The M55 has a 12,400 DPI optical sensor. This wide DPI range is made to provide sufficient accuracy and responsiveness, making it suitable for any games that require click percision or fast sweeping movements across multiple monitors.
8 Programmable buttons for full customisability:
There are also eight programmable buttons on the side of the mouse, all accessible via Corsair's iCUE software. With the software you can make customisations ranging from remapping controls to assigning complex macros and personalizing the dynamic RGB lighting. Underneath the main click buttons is an Omron switch that's rated for 50 million clicks, promising long-term reliability and a satisfyingly crisp response.

Lightweight and fast yet solid:
Weighing just 86 grams, our wired M55 RGB Pro unit felt comfortable and light. Every click felt responsive and fast. Although the mouse is ligthweight, the mouse feels solid and should be suitable for gamers with a claw or fingertip grip. Plus, it has a small RGB lighting flair that is cute to admire when you play in a dim setting.
Although this mouse feels durable enough for a couple of years but can be a little small and awkward for big handed users, especially for those who'll need to rely on its programmable buttons a lot for fast-paced games; it might tire gamers quickly.
Still, the M55 RGB Pro is a good all-rounder. With its lightweight, ambidextrous design, high-precision sensor and customizable buttons, it's a great beginner gamer mouse that would especially want to achieve an upgraded experience in their fast paced games without breaking the bank.

Corsair K70 Core TKL Mechanical Keyboard: Lightning Fast Response
Corsair K70 Core TKL is a RM399 compact gaming keyboard that is Corsair's answer to competitive players and enthusiasts alike wanting a no-nonsense mechanical keyboard that delivers immediacy. As it is tenkeyless, you won't get the numpad, thus it's not the best for certain work professions. Instead, you get a compact, desk-friendly keyboard that zeroes in on gaming performance without compromise.
A premium aluminium top plate:
Build quality is classic Corsair: robust and reliable. As it is designed with a durable aluminum top plate, the keyboard looks premium feel and solid, reducing any risks of flex so that it can withstand the most intense gaming sessions. Its keycaps are also PBT, which means better resistance to shine and wear than standard ABS.
Connectivity is also straightforward with a detachable USB-C cable. As our unit is the wired set, you can enjoy zero latency for uninterrupted gaming. Like the mouse, the keyboard is also customizable via iCUE software where you can set from per-key RGB lighting to intricate macro programming.

Very fast tactile red switches:
Underneath each key is Corsair's new MLX Red linear switches. In our experience, the tactile feels incredibly smooth, with minimal friction, where you can achieve very fast double-taps and rapid key presses. This makes them great for RPG games that require complex combo execution in an RPG. As expected, the Red switches achieves a subduded sound profile that meakes it less disruptive during any heated or late gaming sessions.
While Corsair did well to execute a very fast, nice-tactile experience, this is the most expensive product out of this gaming bundle set. Yet, it remains one of Corsair's (and actually in the market) affordable yet premium mechanical offerings. So if you care enough to need a good quality mechanical keyboard that delivers, minus the interest to go experience any other keebs or DIY, this is a safe investment.

Corsair HS35 Surround v2: Immersive Audio on a Budget
The RM199 Corsair HS35 Surround v2 headset is a standard audio device that delivers well for most casual gamers. It has Dolby Audio 7.1 Surround Sound support for PC and Mac users, enabled by the included USB adapter. This means you can hear for and determine your enemy's footstep with enhanced precision.
Acceptable audio profile with wide frequency range:
The HS35 Surround v2 boasts custom-tuned 50mm neodymium drivers to deliver a wide frequency range, ensuring rich, detailed audio that levels up immersiveness in your games, presenting each explosive action to subtle atmospheric sounds clearly. To us, audio is acceptable with notable decent bass and clear mids.

Comfortable in the long run:
For us, the HS35 is relatively comfortable in long gaming sessions. This is due to its lightweight frame and soft fabric ear pads as well as the floating headband design that provides more flexible fit for a variety of different user profiles, thus reducing fatigue even after hours of play. It also has a universal 3.5mm audio jack that ensures broad compatibility with anything from desktops and laptops to game consoles and mobile devices.
While communication is crystal clear thanks to the detachable and flexible omni-directional microphone, it's not made with premium quality as it is of plastic built, and it not broadcast-quality. Still, it gets the job done. Moreover, there are on-ear controls for easy volume adjustments and quick muting. All in all, the Corsair HS35 Surround v2 is a good affordable headset for gamers prioritizing immersive sound and extended comfort on a budget.
Overall, this set serves as a good choice into a beginner's entryway to understand and grasp what sets gaming and regular computer gear apart.
Even if you don't want to get the entire bundle, you can pick and choose from the gear that suits your current desktop situation. Otherwise, the entire set can be purchased at official Corsair Shopee and Corsair Lazada stores for a total of RM719.
