At Samsung's latest Southeast Asia Tech Seminar in Bangkok, Samsung Electronics showcased an impressive portfolio of AI-driven home innovations—ranging from the expanded AI Home display across fridges, washers, and dryers to the world’s most powerful 400W cordless vacuum.
The showcase was to promote Samsung’s Bespoke AI appliances, essentially "AI Home” pillars—Ease, Save, Care, Secure—demonstrating the advanced smart integration between Samsung's fleet of home appliances, complete with additional smartphone benefits and voice-powered experiences such as Bixby Voice ID and SmartThings Family Care.
AI Home Displays: A Unified Smart Hub Across Appliances
The upcoming trends of smart homes is definitely one we can see Samsung pioneer in.
Many home appliances from fridge to washing machines now come extended with a 9″ AI Home display (Daily Board, Map View, third-party SmartThings integration), unifying control and personalization for acute energy efficiency and such. Refined on these appliances are Bixby Voice ID that recognizes individual users, syncing calendars and accessibility settings, while SmartThings Family Care monitors household activity for security alerts.

- Bixby Voice ID: Personalized voice control, calendar sync, and Galaxy-style accessibility.

Samsung's new global fridge lineup also sees AI Home screens that will benefit most kitchens, complete with AI Energy Mode and Wide Auto Open Door for effortless access. The Side-by-Side model’s 9″ display, Wi-Fi-enabled AI Energy, and gentle touch-to-open door elevate usability and efficiency.

Climate Control: Sleep-Smart Air Conditioning
Building on system ACs with Wi-Fi, Samsung also demonstrated “Good Sleep” mode which are now extended to your Galaxy Watch or Ring, letting you track more in depth sleep stages, automatically tuning temperature for optimal rest. The new SAC lineup embeds connectivity for remote control and integration with SmartThings.
- Good Sleep Mode: Wearable-driven temp adjustments to match sleep cycles.
- System AC with Wi-Fi: Full remote control, scheduling, and usage insights via the SmartThings app.
Smarter Laundry: AI Wash Meets Top-Load Convenience
At the showcase, Samsung also introduced AI Wash in its new Bespoke AI Top Load Washer—previously exclusive to front-load models—plus enhanced AI Wash+ and AI Dry+ on washer-dryer sets. Adding the cherry on top is the fact this is also one of the first most advanced smart top-loaders we can expect to come in Malaysia.
With AI Wash appliances detect fabric types, adjust cycles, and display essential info on the AI Home screen (cycle status, detergent levels).
- AI Wash (Top Load): Automatic load sensing and cycle adjustment for optimal cleaning.
- AI Energy & VRT+: Balances water and power use; reduces vibration and noise.
- AI Wash+ / AI Dry+: Expanded fabric recognition for delicate or bulky items.

Bespoke AI Jet Ultra: The 400W Cordless Powerhouse
A highlight of the seminar was the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, dubbed by Samsung as the world’s most powerful cordless stick vacuum with 400W suction and AI Cleaning Mode 2.0. This vacuum banks on its HexaJet motor and All-in-one clean station automate debris disposal, whereas its AI algorithm detects floor types and corners for optimized cleaning paths.
- 400W Suction Power: Industry-leading performance on carpets, tiles, and timber.
- AI Cleaning Mode 2.0: Smart detection of floor surfaces and corner navigation.
- All-in-one Clean Station: Seals debris in a dust-impermeable bin for hygienic emptying.
