MG Motor Malaysia has kicked off its mid-year campaign with compelling value propositions on two fan-favourite models: the spacious MG5 B-segment sedan now from RM86,900 (a RM7,000 reduction) and the award-winning all-electric MG4 available with up to 12 months of free instalments.
MG5 Sedan: RM7,000 Off a Class-Leading B-Segment
The MG5 being the largest B-segment sedan in its class, combines a sleek silhouette with a roomy cabin and advanced safety features—all now from RM86,900 (down from RM93,900). Even among competitors in Malaysia, it stands to vie for families and professionals seeking practicality and style on a budget.
MG5's key specifications include a 1.5L petrol engine, 110PS and 144Nm torque. It boasts a spacious interior, notably for its segment-leading rear legroom and 467 L boot capacity. The MG5's safety suite includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control and a rear-view camera. In terms of infotainment, there's a 10.1″ touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility.
MG4 EV: Go Electric with Up to 12 Months Free Instalments
The award winning EV MG4 is also having a special promo to help supercharge Malaysia’s EV ownership. It's now available under the “Drive Now, Pay Later” scheme, offering owners up to 12 months free instalments for the MG4 Lux and 8 months for the MG4 Standard—reducing upfront costs and smoothing the transition into electric driving.
MG4 is loaded with a 170PS electric motor and a 50 kWh battery, with a coverage of 350km WLTP range. Its charging time is rated 0–80 % in 35 minutes with 100 kW DC fast-charging. Inside is also fitted with technology convenience such as Level 2 ADAS, 10.25″ digital cluster and 10.25″ infotainment.
Riders will be able to seat comfrotably with the MG4's 60:40 split rear seats as well, accompanied by ambient lighting and dual-zone climate control for cooling.
Interested drivers may head for a test drive with the MG5 or MG4 as well as try the much-anticipated MGS5 EV SUV, now available for test drives as it debuts on Malaysian roads.
