LG’s 2025 OLED TV lineup has become the first OLED TVs in the world to earn TÜV Rheinland’s “True Visual Experience with Indoor Lighting” certification, proving they maintain perfect blacks, vivid colours, and high contrast even under 500 lux—typical daytime living-room brightness.
Backed by additional “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Colour” verifications from UL Solutions and 100 percent colour fidelity and volume certification from Intertek, these OLEDs set a new benchmark in real-world viewing. Especially in a sunny country like Malaysia, this means unparalleled picture fidelity without dimming the lights.
TÜV Rheinland Certification: Real-World Picture Excellence

LG's newest OLED TVs earned a top “Perfect” rating from TÜV Rheinland in five key areas: deep blacks, vibrant colors, contrast clarity, smooth gradation, and performance in bright rooms. Even under bright lighting (like a sunlit living room), these TVs deliver sharp, accurate visuals with impressive depth and detail—proving their strong performance in real-world conditions.
The TVs were recognised for their blackness & contrast which achieved absolute blacks even under glare, preserving shadow detail. Vividness & colour accuracy were also notable among these TVs for their uniform colour reproduction across the screen.
Among these TVs, the gradation & depth were also smooth tonal in transitions without banding. And for a convenient lifestyle, the TVs come with Ambient Contrast Modulation which is an automated dynamic adjustment feature to maintain contrast in bright scenes.

“This certification highlights the distinctive capabilities of LG OLED TVs, setting them apart in the global OLED TV market,” said Jung Jae-chul, head of MS R&D Lab at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “We are dedicated to advancing OLED technology to create unparalleled viewing experiences through our premium TVs in any lighting environment.”
