Short-form videos are everyone and so are Generative AI. If you're looking to sprinkle a little extra dazzle on your clips without needing to go through complex editing timelines and keyframes, Meta AI has launched a new generative AI video editing feature across its Meta AI app, the Meta.AI website, and the Edits app.
Super Straightforward
If you're a complete beginner at video editing, the process is as simple as uploading a short video of up to 10 seconds (free for a limited time), and then choosing from a selection of over 50 preset AI prompts.
These presets can reimagine your outfit, alter your location, or completely shift the visual style. If you want to make your morning train ride more interesting, you could even transform your video into a graphic novel with a “vintage comic book style” or a video game, complete with fluorescent lighting and virtual battle clothing.

Once a prompt is selected, Meta AI works its algorithms to transform your original footage. From the Edits and Meta AI app, you can directly share your decked out creation to Facebook and Instagram. For those using the Meta AI app and Meta.AI web, direct sharing to the Discover feed is also an option.
Meta said that it gathered feedback from creators to make these presets available in the Edits app and plans to add more customisation options later this year, TechCrunch reported. Futhermore, users can look forward to editing videos alongside Meta AI using their own custom text prompts, which is expected to be rolled out soon.
