Design: Sturdy & Premium
Within our touch, the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra felt light for a vacuum that seemed very powerful, officially weighing 1.9 kg. Because our unit comes with the larger 100-minute battery, this makes it relatively lightweight for its class of which weights often go beyond 2kg.
The size of it is not ordinarily overly big. Overall, for a vacuum with a station it is compact in design for easy maneuverability and storage. Just to compare, the size of the docking station, which charges the vacuum's battery and also auto-bins your vacuum, overall felt like an additional vacuum equivalent. It's much slimmer and lighter than the usual robot vacuum docking station as well.
Having multiple colour options is also a rarity in vacuum cleaners, and the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra comes in three: black, white and green. They're all in sleek and timeless colours that will fit most home aesthetics.
As hinted, the built is premium and sturdy. We've noticed that the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra is also designed in its current form to handle better ergonomic demand for the user, which is with a comfortable grip and uniform body (canister), ensuring ease of use during extended cleaning sessions.
Performance & Battery: Plug and Play
From start to finish, the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra doesn't really need much intervention for you to use and maintain.
The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra cleans with a HexaJet Motor, providing up to 400AW of suction power, making it one of the more, if not most, powerful cordless vacuums available in Malaysia. With this vacuum cleaner, you'll get a battery life of up to 100-minute within 2 of its battery pack. That's great for cleaning homes within the 1.5k square feet without needing to recharge, or do deep cleaning sessions comfortably.
Its charging time is also reasonable, you can get 3.5 hours for 100 minutes worth of battery.
Speaking of battery, the sleek dock helps to charge the second battery pack while the first is running on the vacuum. And when you're done cleaning, docking the vacuum at the station, it will automatically empty the dustbin into a sealed 2.0L dust bag within the station.
Unique to the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, it uses an "Air Spin Edge Technology" to spin the dustbin at up to 1,000 RPM, ensuring efficient emptying, and that—we presume—each and every dirt debris gets cleaned out, none left behind.
There's also a 99.999% HEPA filtration system in the vacuum itself, preventing dust and allergens from escaping especially during the emptying process.
Cleaning Technology: Zero Hands-On Cleaning
With AI Cleaning Mode 2.0, you won't have to switch roller heads anymore for different floor types.
Bespoke AI Jet Ultra utilises sensors to detect floor type and adjusts suction power as well as brush speed accordingly, optimizing cleaning efficiency and battery usage. To take it one step further and ensure the best cleaning results, you can singlehandedly use the active dual brush which is designed to effectively clean both carpets and hard floors.
In the box you also get a pet tool+ which is a mini motorized tool specifically designed to tackle pet hair and stubborn dirt. And if you want to spot fine hair better on the ground, use the slim LED brush+, which is ideal for cleaning under furniture and in tight spaces, with built-in LED lights to illuminate dark areas.
What We Like
Gentler Operation Sound
The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra is by no means soft-sounding. Rather, it is still as loud as other modern cordless vacuums.
However, when comparing to competitors with similar cordless vacuums like Dyson and Xiaomi, the Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra actually sounded less shrill and therefore, more bearable in cleaning sessions. As someone who prefers to clean their home in a single long session instead of short burst of micro-cleaning, this vacuum would be a more comfortable choice to use.
SmartThings App Integration
A unique feature to the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra which other vacuums have yet to do so, is its integration to Samsung's native SmartThings app. Through the control screen on top of the vacuum's canister, for monitoring cleaning performance, diagnostics, and customized settings.
If you create a Samsung account to log in with and connect your smartphone to the SmartThings app, you can also access the screen on the vacuum for features like check your cleaning history, accept a call (which the vacuum will stop operating if you do answer), and do self-diagnosis of the vacuum for a customised maintenance guide and tips.
Active Dual Brush
The way this vacuum cleans the floor surface is probably one of the best reasons to get it for. If you are someone with multiple types of flooring at home, the brush's sensor will work to identify and adjust itself to the best optimisation.
Say you have a low pile carpet on your tile floor, you don't need to switch the cleaning brush heads to clean them, something which is common altogether in other vacuums. This then saves you extra time (and removes the feeling of procrastination, we hope) in cleaning.
What We Disliked
Design of the base
Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra has one of the sleekest design for a vacuum cleaner with a self-emptying docking station. Yet it's still not the most ideal design that offers convenience. It's also not the smallest either when put up against competitors like the LG's CordZero All-In-One Tower vacuum series, also come complete with a docking system.
So LG CordZero tower is actually slight smaller at 260 x 300 x 1,010 mm for the base. Whereas, the Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra's base is a mere 300 x 350 x 1192 mm. The differences to us are actually small but it might make a big difference for anyone in a very small home.
But the biggest dealbreaker for aesthetic lovers would be the vacuum's charging position. Oddly, the wiring to the base is in line with the entrance to the vacuum's docking space. This makes it tricky to hide the wire and may cause odd wire management around the base.
Vacuum head
While the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra fares well in its performance, we realised that hair and dust clumps tend to happen too easily. So here's the missing "manual cleaning" needed on your part to maintain the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra.

One good reason to go for the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra is its SmartThings integration, and if you have a Samsung account/smartphone, all the better as you'll be enjoy the niche yet helpful smart home features it gives.
