For runners looking to travel the world through their workout, Fitness+ will introduce a special Time to Run section featuring iconic running destinations such as Central Park, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, and Edinburgh, complete with motivating playlists, coaching, and scenic photos.

If you want to get more out of your Apple Watch, try the Workout app provides rich running metrics such as Vertical Oscillation, Stride Length, Ground Contact Time, and Power—key data points for runners looking to improve their performance.
For those seeking a structured training experience, Custom Workouts offer intervals of work and recovery, complete with haptic and voice feedback to guide users. The app also features a Pacer function, helping runners pace themselves to reach specific distance and time goals.
Other features include Automatic Track Detection, which uses GPS to track performance on outdoor tracks, and Race Routes, allowing users to race against their previous times on familiar routes. To monitor overall training progress, the Training Load feature compares recent workouts to previous sessions, giving insight into the intensity and sustainability of your regimen.
