If you're an Apple user who loves a good mobile game, you know the drill: your games are scattered across your home screen, achievements are hidden, and finding new ones can be a bit of a hit-or-miss affair.

But what if all your Apple games – whether on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV – could live in a singular hub? Bloomberg reported that the tech giant is set to announced its very own dedicated gaming app during Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025, set to take place from 9 to 13 June.

Your Games, Finally in One Home

This new gaming app will be available across your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, where you can:

  • Launch games easily
  • Track achievements
  • Check leaderboards
  • Discover new editorial content such as reviews, news, and recommendations

This new hub is expected to replace the existing (and somewhat underutilised) Game Center, offering a much more comprehensive and engaging experience. While iPhone and iPad have always been strong mobile gaming platforms, Mac has often lagged behind when it comes to serious gaming.

Bloomberg reports that the Mac version of this new app will let users "tap into games downloaded outside of the App Store". This is a massive departure from Apple's usual tightly controlled "walled garden" approach. More PC-like games could arrive on Macs, attracting more serious developers and gamers to the platform.

This dedicated app, along with Apple's recent acquisition of its first gaming studio (RAC7, known for Sneaky Sasquatch), seems to suggest that the tech company is actively building and investing in its gaming ecosystem.

While the official launch is anticipated to coincide with the next version of iOS this September, the announcement alone will give us a clearer picture of what's to come.

Apple acquired RAC7 who developed Sneaky Sasquatch.
