Losing a Joy-Con controller down the back of the sofa or under a pile of blankets is a universal gamer frustration. But fret no more, Switch players!
The Nintendo Switch 2, which is slated for release on 5 June, is adding a new "find my" feature that'll rumble and beep whenever you need to locate your detachable controller.
Beyond that, the next-generation console has been upgraded to be used as a versatile mouse-like input devices.
Hear For Your Controller's Cry For Help

Nintendo Switch 2 will have a 'Search for Controllers' feature to help players locate their misplaced Joy-Con 2 controllers.
While the original Switch also included this feature, it has been enhanced for the new hardware, with the Joy-Con 2's including improved sound output by way of their HD Rumble 2 capabilities. That means, the controllers will emit a rumbling sound and a beeping sound, making it far easier to find it.
To find your missing Switch 2 Joy-Cons, go to the home screen, open the Controllers menu, and select "Search for Controllers".
For the "Search for Controllers" feature to work, the lost Joy-Con 2 must still have battery life and be within the Bluetooth range of the Switch 2 console.
Use Your Controller As A Mouse

Perhaps the most intriguing development is the integration of mouse control capabilities directly into the Joy-Con 2 controllers. According to Nintendo, the optical sensor located on the side of each Joy-Con 2 controller lets you control a cursor on surfaces like a table or your lap.
Both Joy-Con 2 controllers can be used for mouse controls simultaneously, potentially transforming how certain games or applications are experienced.
