Acer Now Has AI Wearables Too — AI Smart Ring & Translation Earbuds

Acer Gadget will be debuting its latest innovations—the Acer FreeSense Ring & Acer AI TransBuds, at the COMPUTEX 2025, set to happen in Taiwan from 20 to 23 May 2025.

Through these new gadgets, Acer is ready to showcase its offerings into AI-powered wearables, aiming to enhance both wellness tracking and multilingual communication.

Additionall, Acer Gadget will be expanding its e-mobility offerings, which includes including e-scooters, e-bikes, and accessories, demonstrating Acer's diverse approach in available personal technology to the masses.

Acer FreeSense Ring - Wellness in Style

Designed to elevate your lifestyle with health as the backbone of the Acer FreeSense Ring, this smart ring is wearable for continuous health monitoring.

Crafted from lightweight titanium alloy, it tracks key metrics like heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality. The ring connects to a mobile app to provide personalized wellness insights and suggestions, empowering users to proactively manage their health.

Acer AI TransBuds - Breaking Language Barriers

Now with globalisation more prominent than ever, the Acer AI TransBuds are made to help you facilitate real-time conversations in languages you aren't familiar with.

Designed to deliver two-way voice translation, the TransBuds work using AI-based speech recognition and semantic analysis, ultimately translating across 15 major languages across the Asian, American and European continents (to date). 

A unique feature is that only one person needs to wear the earbuds for effective translation, making them suitable for sharing especially in various situations like conversations and meetings. The earbuds also support live captioning and transcription.

Acer eMobility - Smart Transportation

Acer Gadget will also be showcasing its expanded range of e-mobility solutions. This includes new e-scooters like the Predator Storm and Thunder eScooter Series, featuring app-based monitoring and smart safety features. The Predator eRanger, a fat-tire e-bike, will also be on display.

The e-scooters are equipped with 400 W to 500 W motors, adaptive brake and suspension systems. Making them unique is that riders can seamlessly monitor performance and manage security settings via the Acer eMobility App.

There is currently no announcement on their availability to Malaysia or the SEA region. With Malaysia gaining traction and taking notice on health wearables, Singapore's huge number of e-scooter riders, and majority of SEA countries like Indonesia and Thailand with high motorcyclist ridership, it'd be an interesting market for Acer to dip their toes into. 

If interested, Acer will showcase these products at Booth M0104, 4F, Hall 1 at the Nangang Exhibition Center during COMPUTEX 2025.
