Instead of just scrolling on Airbnb in search of a cool, convenient place to stay, the vacation rental app aims to be your entire travel buddy. With a fresh new look and a buffet of extra features, Airbnb won't just be the bed-booking app anymore.
Personalised Services Led By Professionals
The latest update introduces "Airbnb Services", a new tab within the app dedicated to bringing travellers a more immersiveful and integrated experience. In this section, you can book everything from private chefs whipping up local delicacies to relaxing in-house massages and even personal trainers right to your doorstep.
The company is launching with 10 categories in 260 cities, with new offerings and locations dropping regularly in the Airbnb app. The first 10 categories include chefs, masseuses, personal trainers, photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, nail technicians, and more.
The company says service providers must apply and provide proof of experience and professional licenses before they can be listed on the app.

Live Like A Local
When travelling, most want to experience life like the locals. The Airbnb app now exclusively features “Airbnb Originals”, which curates exclusive tours and classes by local experts.
From horseback riding through stunning Andean landscapes with an antropologist to spending a day with singer Sabrina Carpenter, you'll get a taste of local life by stepping into the shoes of those who call these places home.

A Personal Travel Planner (or Buddy)
After booking your accommodation, the app will recommend services and experiences nearby. When you arrive at your destination, the app welcomes you with a detailed travel itinerary, including check-in details and a day-by-day view of everything you booked on Airbnb.
