ASUS Malaysia has officially launched its brand-new ASUS Gaming Series, introducing the ASUS Gaming V16 and ASUS Gaming K16 — two ultra-lightweight 16-inch gaming laptops built for gamers, creators, and students who want serious power without the bulk.
Starting from RM3,499, these laptops promise high performance, robust build quality, and versatile everyday use — all packed in sleek bodies as thin as 1.89 cm, as lightweight as 1.80kg.
Lightweight Champion: Power Without the Bulk
The new ASUS Gaming Series redefines portability, with the V16 weighing at 1.95kg, and the K16 weighing at 1.80kg. Both laptops retain a silhouette as slim as 1.89cm. Despite that, the laptops come with a full suite of I/O ports including USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and SD Card reader.
ASUS V16 and K16 are also built with military-grade durability (MIL-STD 810H), ensuring that these laptops can handle daily travel and rough use.
Game-Ready Performance for Everyday Wins
Both laptops hold immense power to game all day. The ASUS Gaming V16, retailing for RM3,999, is supported by an Intel Core 5 Processor 210H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU. Day to day task is carried onwards with 63Wh battery, 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. You'll get a 1080p FHD webcam and Windows 11 Home on the V16 as well.
The ASUS Gaming K16, retailing for RM3,499), comes supported with an Intel Core i5-13420H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. It's also supported by 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
OS is also the same as the K16 has Windows 11 Home OS, whereas hardware is slightly lowered with a 50Wh battery and 720p HD webcam.
To ensure optimal performance, the laptops' thermal architecture is designed with up to two cooling fans and heat pipes, delivering efficient heat dissipation for consistent, responsive performance.
Immersive Visuals with Fast Refresh Display
Enjoy visuals with the Gaming Series with their 16-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1200) IPS-Level displays, designed with 16:10 aspect ratio — 11% more vertical space than standard 16:9.
The screen supports 144Hz refresh rate for buttery smooth gaming and editing, and the 89% screen-to-body ratio for a more immersive viewing experience. To top it off, the laptops come with anti-glare coating for better outdoor use.
Extras That Make It Even Better
Both laptops will come preloaded with Office Home 2024. They will also come with 3 months of PC Game Pass so you can access hundreds of games right after setting up.
For entertainment, both laptops also have ASUS SonicMaster and Dirac® audio tuning for richer sound quality.
ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607), priced at RM3,999, and the ASUS Gaming K16 (K3605), priced at RM3,499, will be available starting 25 April 2025 across all authorized ASUS retailers in Malaysia.
