Apple has introduced the new Mac Studio, calling it as Apple's most powerful Mac to date. This is a compact desktop equipped with the latest Apple M4 Max and M3 Ultra chips. The CPU is designed to cater to professionals with demanding tasks and high work output performance to keep up with.

Mac Studio with M4 Max

The new Mac Studio with M4 Max Chip features up to 16-core CPU and 40-core GPU. It's reported to have significant performance enhancements over previous models. In fact, Apple reports the Mac Studio with M4 Max is up to 3.5x faster than Mac Studio with M1 Max, and is up to 6.1x faster than the most powerful Intel-based 27-inch iMac.
Available Mac Studio with M4 Max starts with 36GB of unified memory, and is configurable up to 128GB; more than capable of facilitating seamless multitasking and handling of large datasets.
Moreover, the M4 Max Chip provide power equating up to 3.5 times speed more than the M1 Max, enabling even quicker processing for tasks like image editing and complex compositions.
Mac Studio with M3 Ultra

For Mac Studios with M3 Ultra, this set up features a 32-core CPU (24 performance cores) and up to an 80-core GPU, offering a substantial leap in computing power. When it comes to memory, the M3 Ultra supports up to 512GB of unified memory, which is the highest ever in a personal computer. It's supportive of and great for AI applications as well as large-scale simulations.
M3 Ultra is also capable of supporting large language models with over 600 billion parameters entirely in memory, making it a powerhouse for AI development.
The Mac Studio with M3 has the configuration option of up to 16TB of SSD storage, providing ample space for large projects and datasets.
Extended Connectivity

Both Mac Studio models will have Thunderbolt 5 ports to support more fast data transfer at once, as well as support for multiple high-resolution displays.
When it comes to display, the M3 Ultra variant can support up to an astounding nubmer of eight 6K displays, catering to professionals requiring expansive visual workspaces.
macOS & AI Support

The new Mac Studios will come with macOS Sequoia with a host of exciting features, including iPhone Mirroring, which allows users to wirelessly interact with their iPhone, its apps, and notifications directly from their Mac.
In place is also built-in Apple Intelligence, Apple's own AI system to help users fast-track their own productivity, communication, and expression, while protecting user's privacy.

Both Mac Studios will be available for orders soon on apple.com/my/store, in the Apple Store app, and in Apple Store locations and Apple Authorised Resellers. Pricing for the Mac Studios start from RM8,999 and RM8,149 for education. Additional configure-to-order options are available as well.
