Apple announced iPhone 16e, a new addition to the iPhone 16 lineup that—Apple claims—offers powerful capabilities at a more affordable price of just RM2,999, with pre-orders to begin on 21 February 2025.

iPhone 16e delivers fast, smooth performance and breakthrough battery life, thanks to the industry-leading efficiency of the A18 chip. It also has the new Apple C1 which is the first cellular modem designed by Apple. It'll also come with the universal USB C charging port as well as support wireless charging.
With all of these upgrades, Apple says the iPhone 16e is faster that the 3rd Gen iPhone SE by 40%, and 80% faster than the iPhone 11, as well as achieving battery worth 26 hours of video playback.
iPhone 16e is also built for Apple Intelligence, Apple's own intuitive personal intelligence (AI) system that delivers helpful and relevant intelligence-based results while maintaining privacy in AI for users.
Something to know: The iPhone 16e won't have MagSafe capabilities, which is a popular feature among most iPhone users.
Has 2-in-1 Singular 48MP Camera & Satellite Features
The 48MP Fusion camera is designed to be able to take gorgeous photos and videos, together with an integrated 2x Telephoto for more dynamic range in portrait mode, promising zoom capabilities with optical quality.
When outside of cellular and Wi-Fi coverage, Apple’s groundbreaking satellite features — including Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My via satellite — help iPhone 16e users stay connected and get assistance when it matters most.
