Samsung's Galaxy S25 series was finally revealed at the latest Galaxy Unpacked 2025, held in San Jose, California on 22 January 2025 (23 January 2025, 2AM MYT).

Processing power
The series capitalises on the power of Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which is designed to power on-device AI, and incldues support for the multimodal Gen AI and personalization, as well as supporting voice, text, and image prompts.
Design
The Galaxy S25+ is slimmer than its previous generation, at only 7.3mm thick and 190g. Despite the thinner chassis, it still retains the 4,900 mAh battery capacity with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. Compared to the Galaxy S25 base with 4,000mAh and only 25W fast charging, the Galaxy S25+ gives you a little more battery to supercharge your day.
Camera & Video
This year, the S25 series are enhanced with AI-centered videography post-processing options such as Audio Eraser (erase audio elements like crowd & wind) and Galaxy Log (unprocessed video files) that lets you edit your videos acutely and as manually as possible.
