TCL has introduced two new NXTPAPER smartphones in Malaysia: the TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G and TCL 50 NXTPAPER 5G. These models blend AI-powered features and eye-friendly display technology, aiming to enhance both viewing and productivity.
The highlight of these smartphones is the advanced NXTPAPER 3.0 technology, which adapts to various lighting conditions, reducing harmful blue light and minimizing glare. Certified by TÜV, SGS, and Eyesafe, these displays promote healthy viewing habits with features like automatic brightness adjustments and reminders to take breaks. Whether indoors or outdoors, the 6.8” FHD+ screen, coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivers a smooth experience with an outdoor brightness of up to 650 nits.
A unique Max Ink Mode simulates an e-ink display, perfect for extended reading sessions with reduced eye strain. This mode also minimizes notifications for a distraction-free experience, allowing readers to immerse themselves in their favourite novels or documents. In this mode, battery life extends up to seven days, providing an uninterrupted reading experience on the go.
TCL’s collaboration with Microsoft brings AI-powered tools like Text Assistant and Writing Assistant, which make tasks like summarizing, translating, and drafting emails easy and intuitive. Professionals can benefit from Voice Memo, which records, transcribes, and summarizes conversations—ideal for managing meetings and note-taking effortlessly.
The TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G includes a 32MP front camera for clear selfies and a 108MP rear camera for vivid shots, ensuring you can capture every moment with ease. With up to 512GB of storage, users have ample space to save high-resolution photos, videos, and essential files without slowing down the device.
In line with TCL’s commitment to sustainability, both NXTPAPER models come in plastic-free packaging for the EU market. Available in Moon Gray and Alps White, these models feature a fiber basalt cover and achieve impressive eco-rating scores, with the TCL 50 NXTPAPER 5G scoring 81 and the PRO version 78.
Pricing and Availability
The TCL 50 PRO NXTPAPER 5G, available in Moon Gray and Alps White, is priced at RM1,199. It will be available from 12 December on TCL Mobile Malaysia’s official Lazada and Shopee stores and through local dealers.
