Why Should You Upgrade To One UI 6.1.1?

Galaxy owners, look here!

Samsung Malaysia has announced the expansion of One UI 6.1.1, bringing the latest Galaxy AI features to even more devices, including the Galaxy S24 Series, S23 Series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 Series.

This update brings the advanced AI capabilities that were previously only available on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, enhancing communication, productivity, and creativity across all updated devices. With One UI 6.1.1, your Galaxy devices will become smarter, more intuitive, and incredibly helpful in our daily lives!

Effortless Communication

One UI 6.1.1 makes communication simpler than ever, especially when it comes to communicating in different languages. Interpreter now supports Listening Mode when paired with your Galaxy Buds, translation your speech in real-time. Travelling abroad and needing a quick translation for a conversation? Just activate the feature, and you’re ready to communicate in real-time, without any awkward pauses.

Composer helps you draft just about anything effortlessly—emails, social media posts, or messages, you name it! Just input a few keywords, and AI generates a polished message based on our style and tone, making content creation quick and personalised.

If you’re often on the go, Suggested Replies will be a game-changer, as it takes the guesswork out of messaging and provide context-aware responses right when you need them. Previously only available on the Galaxy Z Flip6, it’s now on the Galaxy S24 series too, and best of all, you can also quickly send smart responses from your wrist when connected to your Galaxy Watch7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra!

Enhance Your Creativity and Productivity

Whether you’re capturing everyday moments or creating professional-grade content, Galaxy AI offers tools that make it easy.

Have you ever had an idea pop into your head that you just needed to sketch out quickly? With Sketch to Image, you can now transform those rough sketches into detailed images instantly.

Whether you’re planning a storyboard for a video, designing a room, or simply visualising a concept, this tool makes it easy. In fact, we did exactly this and produced a whole video using only Galaxy devices. Check it out here:

Another fun little feature is the Portrait Studio, which allows you to create stunning portraits in styles like 3D cartoon or watercolour with just a few taps. Ditch the boring selfies; be whoever you want with the help of Galaxy AI!

Multitasking Made Easy

One UI 6.1.1 turns any Galaxy device into a productivity powerhouse. Note Assist makes meetings stress-free by summarising notes and transcribing voice recordings, saving you from the tedious task of manual note-taking.

Need to translate your notes or documents? You can do that right on the Notes app itself too! Or if it’s a separate PDF file, the PDF Overlay Translation feature can translate text within PDFs, images, or graphs, ensuring we always understand the content in front of us.

And here’s good news for students: if you’re dealing with complex math problems, Circle to Search with Google can provide you with instant results, now enhanced with step-by-step solutions. And that’s not the only thing it can do; it can help you look up just about anything you see too. Basically, if you can circle it, you can find it!
