OPPO has officially introduced its latest smartphone, the OPPO A3, in Malaysia, designed for all-round reliability, lasting durability, and impressive gaming experiences. The OPPO A3 brings a host of robust features, making it a great option for users looking for a budget-friendly yet high-performance smartphone.
The OPPO A3 is built with a damage-proof body that boasts Military-Grade Shock Resistance, ensuring it can withstand everyday drops and impacts. It also comes with Multiple Liquid Resistance and an IP54 rating, protecting the phone from spills and splashes of coffee, soup, or rain. Thanks to Splash Touch, the phone remains responsive even when wet, allowing users to keep using it in tricky conditions like rainy weather or right out of the pool.
The OPPO A3 doesn’t just stand out in terms of reliability; it also sports a sleek design. At just 7.68 mm thick and weighing 186 grams, it feels smooth and comfortable in hand. Available in Starlight White and Sparkle Black, both finishes give the phone a premium look, with the Sparkle Black featuring OPPO's Glow process for a shimmering, fingerprint-free design.
With a 5,100mAh battery, the OPPO A3 ensures that users can go through their day with ease, whether for work or play. The battery is designed to maintain 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles, promising up to four years of optimal performance.
When it’s time to recharge, the 45W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge technology comes in handy, allowing the battery to reach 50% in just 30 minutes and fully charge in 75 minutes. The Smart Charging feature also optimizes charging according to user habits, helping to extend battery life even further.
Powered by the Snapdragon® 6s 4G Gen1 Mobile Platform, the OPPO A3 offers smooth performance with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology adds up to an additional 8GB of virtual RAM for an extra performance boost when needed. Plus, the ColorOS 14 Trinity Engine ensures efficient multitasking, making the A3 perfect for heavy gaming or video streaming.
The 6.67-inch LCD display delivers a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a 1,000 nits peak brightness, ensuring clear visuals even in bright outdoor conditions. Audio gets a boost with Ultra Volume Mode, which amplifies sound up to 300%—ideal for loud environments.
The OPPO A3 also excels in photography with its 50MP Ultra-Clear Camera and 5MP Selfie Camera. Features like AI Portrait Retouching and Dual-view Video enable users to capture stunning photos and videos, while Third-Party Video Retouching unlocks extra creativity.

The OPPO A3 is available starting from 13 September in Starlight White and Sparkle Black. The 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM model is priced at RM699, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM model will be available soon for RM799.
