We attended the unveiling of the Play For Dream MR held in Singapore, along with a first-hand experience of this Apple Vision Pro counterpart. Play For Dream Technology will be setting up its Asia-Pacific marketing headquarters in Singapore as its first step of international expansion.
The Play For Dream MR headset is designed to revolutionize how we interact with digital content, from gaming and movies to work and photography. Developed in collaboration with industry giants IMAX and DTS, this device promises unmatched audiovisual quality, featuring IMAX’s signature picture and DTS:X Ultra sound format.

Play For Dream MR will be available in Singapore and Malaysia in October 2024, with launches in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Japan to follow in 2025. At the event, Play For Dream revealed that the MR will be priced at USD1,X99, with two models available, 512GB and 1TB respectively, though we don't know which model the price is for.
