Zepp Health, the company behind Amazfit, has announced the release of the Zepp OS 3.5 update, featuring the groundbreaking Zepp Flow™ powered by AI for Amazfit Balance models. This innovative advancement marks the integration of a Natural-Language User Interface (LUI) driven by a large language model (LLM) AI, making it the first operating system of its kind.
The introduction of LUI allows users to interact with their wearable devices naturally via speech, revolutionizing the user experience. Zepp Flow™ represents a significant step forward in AI integration within Zepp OS 3.5, enabling the device to understand and respond to user commands effectively. With expanded capabilities, users can now enjoy a more personalized experience, empowering them to take control of their well-being through AI utilization.
Key features of the updated Zepp OS 3.5 include:
- Marathon Training: Support for half and full marathon training via Zepp CoachTM, with new Confidence Index and Plan Completion Rate for training insights.
- HRV Recording: Sleep Heart Rate Variability (HRV) tracks heartbeat variations, providing information on the user’s recovery state, stress levels, and post-exercise recovery.
- WhatsApp Integration: View WhatsApp image messages directly on the Amazfit Balance smartwatch when received via WhatsApp for an Android device.
- Offline Maps: Enhanced navigation with intuitive road names for better running, hiking, or exploring.
- New Sports Modes: Addition of bouldering and indoor rock climbing to the sports modes list.
- Running Power Tracking: Insights into power performance during a run.
- Winter Sports: Enhanced experience for snowboarding and skiing, with trail navigation and resort maps.
Furthermore, Malaysia can anticipate the launch of additional AI technology in July 2024, with the introduction of the Zepp Aura personal wellness assistant. Zepp Aura will offer features such as sleep and stress management, health reporting, soothing soundscapes, and sleep analysis, complementing the capabilities of Zepp Flow™ and enhancing the overall user experience.
