Huawei Launches Largest Photography Exhibition And XMAGE Awards 2024 In Malaysia.

At the Sentul Glass Pavilion inside a privately owned park in Kuala Lumpur, Huawei has officially launched its first-ever Huawei XMAGE Global Exhibition, known as “A Heartwarming World – 12 Years of Huawei Photography”. This is the biggest photography display ever done by the company thus far, which focuses on the more than ten-year period when Huawei’s mobile imaging technology witnessed remarkable development.

The exhibitions showcase images taken by different smartphone lines provided by Huawel over the span of twelve years. Huawei has also been instrumental in spreading the international mobile photography culture through contests, community gatherings, and trend reports. Furthermore, the exhibition explored six categories, which are: “The Secrets of Mother Nature,” “Landscapes and Spaces,” “A Dialogue with Animals,” “You and Me,” “The Power of Moments,” and “The World of Youth.” The exhibition, themed "A Heartwarming World,"  shows close to 300 photos, which were chosen from millions of entries and were shot by Huawei smartphones. 

Following its tradition, Huawei also announced the Huawei Pura Series, which is an advancement of the Huawei P Series. In addition, Huawei's Pura 70 Series comes with an Ultra Lighting camera system and an Ultra Speed Snapshot feature, changing mobile photography due to its ability to snap fast-moving scenes with ease. Consequently, it also consists of the Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera, which ensures sharpness from the beginning to the end of its focus depth.

The Huawei XMAGE Awards 2024 were formally declared open at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Currently, this is the eighth edition of this annual competition, which seeks to ignite the creative spark of all technologically conscious consumers through the use of Huawei´s XMAGE imaging technology. This year, there will be additional categories and rewards for winners in more than 170 nations. Renowned individuals in the field, such as Huawei Company’s top officials and other industry experts, shall be responsible for selecting the most captivating photo stories.

The exhibition debuts on May 23rd, 2024, and features outstanding works across all of Huawei’s official platforms, such as @HuaweiXmageAwards on Instagram as well as its other accounts like X and Facebook.
