Panasonic proudly introduces the LUMIX S9, the latest addition to its esteemed LUMIX S Series lineup. Setting a new standard in full-frame mirrorless cameras, the LUMIX S9 combines compact design with cutting-edge technology to deliver unparalleled performance and versatility.
The LUMIX S9 boasts a sleek and lightweight design, making it the smallest and lightest full-frame mirrorless camera in the LUMIX S Series. With a choice of colours including Jet Black, Crimson Red, Dark Olive, and Dark Silver, the LUMIX S9 is not only a powerful tool for creators but also a stylish accessory for those on the move.
Equipped with a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and the latest engine, the LUMIX S9 captures content with exceptional clarity and natural tones. The addition of PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) ensures precise subject tracking, while Active I.S. reduces blurring from camera shake, allowing users to shoot confidently in any situation.
The LUMIX S9 introduces the new LUMIX Lab app, enabling users to effortlessly transfer photos and videos from the camera to a smartphone. With the ability to create custom LUT colour files on the smartphone, users can achieve their desired colour expressions without the need for post-production editing on a computer. The app also allows for quick and easy editing of MP4 Lite video files optimized for social media sharing.
Introducing a new recording format, MP4 Lite, the LUMIX S9 allows creators to capture high-quality videos in a smartphone-optimized format. With Open Gate shooting in 4:2:0 10-bit, users can easily resize aspect ratios to suit social media platforms, streamlining the editing workflow while on the go.
Accompanying the LUMIX S9 is the LUMIX S 26mm F8 (S-R26) lens, an incredibly compact and lightweight full-frame lens perfect for casual and creative shooting. Additionally, Panasonic will soon release the LUMIX S 18-40mm F4.5-6.3 lens, offering versatility ideal for daily use.
The LUMIX S9 is available for pre-order at RM 7,599 for the DC-S9GA Body alone, and RM 8,999 for the DC-S9KGA with an R2060 Lens. Models pre-ordered from retail outlets from 30 May to 30 June 2024 will be available in Jet Black and Dark Olive, while those pre-ordered from Lazada or Shopee from 6 to 30 June 2024 will be available in Jet Black and Crimson Red. All pre-orders come with a free gift package including a SmallRig L-Shape Handle, a battery pack, and a 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SD Card.
