Bing is currently experiencing issues with its API, resulting in errors when trying to search on Bing-reliant programs like DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, and yes, even ChatGPT.
According to TechCrunch, the outage started around 2am PDT (5pm MYT), and as of the time of writing, Bing's API still isn't working. Asking ChatGPT to do a simple web search results in "an issue".
OpenAI has confirmed the outage on their support page, citing a "partial outage" which is currently under investigation.
As Microsoft's flagship search engine, Bing's outage means websites that use Bing API are not working as well. Both web and mobile versions of Microsoft Copilot are completely offline.
For now, there is no information on when Bing will be fixed.
