Galaxy AI Now Available For Last-Gen Galaxy Devices

You get Galaxy AI, you get Galaxy AI, we all get Galaxy AI!

Samsung's recent release of the One UI 6.1 upgrade represents a substantial step towards addressing the discrepancy between the previous year's flagship smartphones and its present lineup. Samsung is expanding the scope of its AI-powered capabilities by introducing Galaxy AI to earlier devices such as the S23 series, the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Fold5 models, and the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets.

The upgrade, which became available as of March 28, includes a slew of AI-powered capabilities that were initially limited to this year's flagship smartphones. Among these is a call assistant that can translate languages in real-time during calls and transform spoken words into text, while generative image processing enables users to modify photographs.

Furthermore, the inclusion of Circle to Search, a function popularised by Google's Pixel devices, broadens the search capabilities throughout Samsung's portfolio. Users may conduct a quick internet search by just circling any portion of the screen, making it easier to identify things in photographs or discover products online.

The One UI 6.1 upgrade, which is around 3GB in size, is easily available for eligible devices. Users who have not been prompted for the upgrade should check every now and then to guarantee they benefit from the latest functionalities.
